Meet the Founder

Laurie Hills

I possess an enduring passion for animals, having shared my life with horses, dogs, cats, and even a pair of crows as companions. Presently, I cherish the company of three horses, two dogs and two cats. Trail riding and camping bring me immense joy, but my deepest fulfillment lies in the knowledge that I have aided a horse in helping to solve issues.

I have been a certified Equine Massage Therapist for a number of years,  with ongoing education. When I realized that the wonderful 4 Day Clinic I participated in and was certified in Equine Massage, left me with so many questions,  I went searching for my answers and  found many new ideas and clues with Beverly Brady of Midwest Natural Healing for Animals.  With her schooling I learned:
Biomechanics - Understanding what is making that horse hurt
Body Massage Therapies - helping the horse release the pain he's holding in
Rehab Strategies - bringing the horse back to what he should be
Myofascial Release - What it is, how to identify it, and get tissues released
